Nine people have been charged with violent disorder following a football derby in Birmingham.

The arrests were made on Tuesday and Wednesday and follow crowd trouble at a Premier League match between Aston Villa and Birmingham at Villa Park on 31 October.

The arrested men range in age from 18 to 45 years old.

All nine will appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court on Tuesday. Police are still looking for two other men.

Crowd trouble also broke out at a Carling Cup game between the two teams at Birmingham City's St Andrews ground on 1 December.
