Man charged over Birmingham Bullring shooting

A teenager has been charged with attempted murder after a 19-year-old was shot in Birmingham's Bullring shopping centre on Boxing Day.

Police found a man with a bullet wound to his leg following reports of the shooting on 26 December.

Officers searched a home in Newtown on Tuesday and arrested a 19-year-old man.

Josiah Dorsett, from Newtown, was remanded in custody by city magistrates to appear at Birmingham Crown Court on 19 January.
