Four men arrested in police raids in Wolverhampton

Four men have been arrested in early morning raids in Wolverhampton as part of a police operation dealing with "heightened tensions" between youths.

The men, aged 18, 24, 25 and 29, were arrested in the Heath Town and Low Hill areas of the city on suspicion of robbery, a spokesman said.

Supt Mark Payne said: "We are addressing the issues behind the tension by taking enforcement action."

Officers have been continuing to search the addresses.
