Man rescued from Birmingham flat fire dies
A man has died in a flat fire in Birmingham.
A pan was on fire on a cooker in Folkestone Croft, Hodge Hill, on Sunday afternoon, West Midlands Fire Service said.
Ambulance crews started advanced life support on the man, who had been rescued, but he was confirmed dead at the scene.
The incident was not being treated as suspicious at the moment, West Midlands Police has said.
The ambulance service has said crews found the man being given CPR by fire crews.
The fire service was called at about 1220 BST and the fire was brought under control by about 1310 BST.
