Police in the West Midlands have released on bail two people arrested on suspicion of murdering a 92-year-old woman.
Daisy Myring was discovered with a head injury at her home in Albion Road, Brownhills, Walsall, on Tuesday. She died in hospital.
Tests showed she died from blunt force trauma to her head and body.
A woman, 36, and a man, 40, both from Cannock, Staffordshire, were arrested on suspicion of murder.
They have been bailed to return to a police station at a date in July.
A police spokesman said they would like to hear from anyone with information which might aid their investigation.
The force has stressed Ms Myring's house had not been burgled.
