Cradley Heath house fire leaves five needing treatment
Five people have been taken to hospital following a house fire in Cradley Heath, in the West Midlands.
Emergency services were called to a property in Sidaway Street, in Old Hill, at about 0145 BST.
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said all five had inhaled smoke and were treated by ambulance crews.
All five were taken to Russells Hall Hospital. The spokesman said they had suffered the effects of "various degrees of smoke inhalation".
He said one had experienced "serious smoke inhalation" while the other four were taken to hospital for assessment and treatment.
