Brownhills road crash: Lorry driver arrested
A lorry driver has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after two people in a car were killed in a crash in the West Midlands.
A man and a woman aged 35 and 29 died in the collision involving a lorry on the A5, Watling Street, Brownhills, at about 2315 BST on Friday.
A 43-year-old man from the Czech Republic was arrested after the crash at the B5011 traffic lights junction.
The lorry driver was not injured in the crash, the ambulance service said.
The two people in the Kia Rio car both suffered multiple injuries and died at the scene near the Staffordshire border.
