Kerry Smith, 29, was stabbed on Sunday in High Street, Rowley Regis, and pronounced dead in hospital.

A preliminary hearing will take place at Wolverhampton Crown Court on Thursday.

Mr Palmer will not be required to attend that hearing in person.
