Five hurt in four-vehicle crash in Birmingham

Five people have been taken to hospital after a collision involving a van and three cars in Birmingham.

Three men in their 30s, who had been in the van, had neck and back pain after the incident on the A38M Aston Expressway at Park Circus.

The ambulance service, which was called at about 12:10 BST, found one of them had a head injury, which was not life-threatening.

A car driver, a woman in her 30s, and a child both had neck and back pain.
