Adam Collard road death in Sheldon: Man charged

A 37-year-old man has been charged over the death of a pedestrian in Birmingham.

Adam Collard, 24, from Solihull, was on Sheaf Lane, in Sheldon, on 30 August when he was struck by a car. He died shortly after.

The suspect, from the Solihull area, has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving and failing to stop at the scene of a collision.

He has been remanded in custody to appear before city magistrates later.
