Wolverhampton teenager Jamie Murphy killed in crash

A teenager who died when the motorbike he was travelling on crashed has been named by police.

Jamie Murphy, 17, from Wolverhampton, died in the crash on Rookery Lane, in Penn, on Tuesday.

The incident involved a black and white Buell X1 lightning motorcycle, which had earlier been reported stolen.

A 14-year-old Wolverhampton boy, who was also travelling on the bike, has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

The boy, who was taken to hospital with minor injuries, was also arrested on suspicion of aggravated theft of a motor vehicle.
