Police investigating a stabbing which left a woman with life-threatening injuries have released a picture of a man they want to speak to.

The 30-year-old woman, who was stabbed in the stomach, was attacked in her home in Glovers Road in Small Heath, Birmingham, on 7 November.

West Midlands Police said they were keen to find 36-year-old Qasim Khan.

He was believed to have lived at the same address at the time of the attack, they said.

The force said it was believed he may go under a number of different names and so they were keen to speak to anyone who may recognise his picture.

Det Con Rob Clarke said: "We believe this to be an unprovoked and violent attack and we are actively seeking Qasim Khan in relation to it."
