Murder charge after Birmingham homeless man attack

A 35-year-old man has been charged with murdering a homeless man who died after an attack at a Birmingham bus stop.

Richard Williams, 58, was found injured close to the junction of Barford Road and Dudley Road, near City Hospital, just after midnight on 30 December.

He was taken to hospital with head injuries but died a short while later.

Grigory Razgoniaev, of no fixed address, has been remanded in custody until Wednesday.

He will appear before Birmingham Crown Court on that date.
