Arrest made after fatal stabbing in Druids Heath

A 23-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a fatal stabbing in Birmingham.

Officers were called to the Druids Heath area at about 14:00 GMT on Sunday where they found a man in the street. He died later in hospital.

Police said post-mortem tests revealed the unidentified man died as a result of a single stab wound to the chest.

Part of Larkhill Walk and an address in Stonehenge Croft have been cordoned off.

The arrested man remains in custody and is helping detectives with their inquiries.
