Walsall Man 'bled to death' from neck injury

Five people have been arrested and bailed following the death of a man who bled to death in the West Midlands.

Mahinder Singh Virk, 30, suffered a neck injury at a house which was being renovated in New Invention, Walsall, on Saturday 3 March.

A post-mortem examination found the 30-year-old died as a result of blood loss from his injury.

Mr Virk was from Karpurthala in India and police are asking to hear from anyone who knew him.

Det Insp Gary Plant said Mr Virk was living in the Beacon Road property while carrying out the renovations.

He said it was a complex investigation and police were working to unravel the facts surrounding his death.
