Murder charge after fatal stabbing in Birmingham
A 24-year-old man has been charged with murdering a man who was stabbed to death in Birmingham.
Shaspal Singh Bahra, 46, was attacked on Thorp Street, near the Hippodrome Theatre, on 12 May and died in hospital.
A post-mortem examination revealed he died as a result of multiple stab wounds.
A 24-year-old man from Handsworth will appear at Birmingham Magistrates' Court on Saturday, police said.
A 19-year-old man who was arrested in the Highgate area on Tuesday remains on police bail pending further inquiries.
