An e-fit has been released of a man or boy police want to speak to about the sexual assault of a 13-year-old girl in the West Midlands.

The victim was followed by the suspect through Victoria Park, High Street, Smethwick, on her way home from school at about 15:00 GMT on 26 July.

The suspect then talked his way into the victim's home and assaulted her.

Police said he then fled the scene, back towards the park on a red or grey BMX bike.

The suspect was described as being "dark skinned", about 5ft 4in tall, of medium build with brown eyes.

He had a deep voice and wore black tracksuit bottoms, a black T-shirt, white football boots and a grey baseball cap.

Det Con Gail Cartridge, of West Midlands Police, said the victim had been left "extremely traumatised".

Anyone with information has been urged to contact Sandwell Police.
