Frankley house deaths post mortems 'inconclusive'

Post-mortem tests carried out on a couple who were found dead in their Birmingham home are inconclusive, police have said.

Suzanne Van Hagen and John Worton were discovered at the house in Miranda Close, Frankley, on Friday.

Ms Van Hagen's nine-year-old daughter, who found their bodies in separate rooms, is being cared for by her grandparents.

West Midlands police is treating the deaths as unexplained.

Officers said Mr Worton was found dead in the lounge of the property, while Ms Van Hagen was discovered near a mattress in a bedroom.

The families of the couple are being supported, police said.
