Birmingham Mailbox bar stabbing: Fourth arrest

A fourth man has been arrested by police searching for a man who left the scene of a double stabbing in Birmingham.

The 42-year-old was arrested on Sunday at 21:15 BST in north Birmingham on suspicion of wounding and has been taken to hospital with a leg wound.

Two men, aged 51 and 49, were stabbed at Bar Room Bar at the Mailbox shortly after 20:30 on Saturday.

The 51-year-old was arrested on Sunday after receiving medical treatment.

Two men, 18 and 20, who were arrested in connection with the incident, have been bailed.

Police investigations into the disorder are continuing. Detectives believe it was the result of an ongoing dispute between two families.

A 49-year-old man who suffered chest wounds during the incident remains in hospital in a stable condition.
