Man arrested after Wolverhampton pub toilet attack

Police searching for two people in connection with an attack on a man in the toilets of a pub have made an arrest.

The assault inside the men's toilets of the George Wallis pub in Victoria Street, Wolverhampton left a 29-year-old victim with a fractured skull and eye socket.

It took place on 9 March, West Midlands Police said.

A 31-year-old man arrested on suspicion of wounding has been released on bail.

A second man is still being sought by police.
