Teenager remanded over Azim Azam murder in Birmingham

A teenager charged with the murder of a college student stabbed in Birmingham has been remanded in custody.

The 17-year-old, charged with murdering 16-year-old Azim Azam, will appear at the city's crown court on Monday.

Azim, from Billesley, was found collapsed in the street after getting off the number two bus in Moseley at 08:30 BST on Monday.

The accused, who cannot be named because of his age, appeared at Birmingham Youth Court.
