Twenty men charged over EDL violence
Twenty men have been charged with violent disorder following an English Defence League (EDL) protest in Birmingham.
EDL supporters gathered in Centenary Square for the 20 July protest, while people staging a counter-demonstration congregated in Chamberlain Square.
Ten men charged last week, aged from 19 to 48, are due at Birmingham Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.
The others, charged this week and aged 19 to 34, are due in court on Thursday.
In total there were about 2,000 protesters on the day, police said.
