Murder arrest after Wolverhampton Britannia Hotel body find

A 29-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman's body was found in a Wolverhampton hotel.

West Midlands Police said it was called to the Britannia Hotel in Lichfield Street at 10:00 GMT on Thursday.

The victim has been named as Amandeep Kaur Hothi, 29, from Wolverhampton.

The force said officers were continuing to investigate the circumstances of the death and said the woman's family had been receiving support.
