The Queen's Baton Relay has arrived in Birmingham as part of its tour ahead of the Commonwealth Games.

The baton is due to visit a number of sports' events in the city, including a hockey session led by England international Jane Sixsmith.

The relay will end in Glasgow, for the opening of the games, on 23 July.

Monday marks day three of the relay through England, with it already having visited Manchester and Sheffield.

Previously it has toured the 70 Commonwealth nations and territories, before travelling through the Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland and Wales.
