Wolverhampton shop security guard robbed of full cashbox

Robbers have taken a "substantial sum" of money from a security guard making a collection from a supermarket in Wolverhampton.

It happened at about 10:00 BST on Saturday as the man was taking the cashbox to his van from the Co-op in Raynor Road, in the Fallings Park area.

The two attackers were dressed in dark clothing and had their faces covered.

West Midlands Police have seized CCTV footage from the shop and the area remains cordoned off.
