Croupier murder suspect sectioned in Birmingham
A man arrested during a murder inquiry has been sectioned under the Mental Health Act.
Francesco Leccese, a 21-year-old Italian man, was found dead at his home in Daley Close, Ladywood, Birmingham, just after 09:00 GMT on Tuesday.
A post-mortem examination revealed he died as a result of stab injuries.
Police said a 20-year-old Italian, who was known to Mr Leccese, had been arrested on suspicion of murder and was being assessed at a secure unit.
Senior investigating officer, Det Insp Justin Spanner said: "Mr Leccese was living in Birmingham and working as a croupier in the city centre.
"His family are now in the city and are being supported by specially-trained liaison officers."
