Parents killer Carl Chang given hospital order

A man who killed his parents is to be treated indefinitely at a secure psychiatric hospital, a court ordered.

Pin Cheng Chang, 59, and his wife Quoi, 50, were stabbed at the family home in Hermitage Road, Solihull, early on 7 July 2014, police said.

Carl Chang, 23, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to manslaughter on the grounds of diminished responsibility.

He was handed the indefinite hospital order at Birmingham Crown Court earlier.
