Murder charge over fatal stabbing of Italian student
A man has been charged after an Italian student was found fatally stabbed in Birmingham.
Francesco Leccese, 21, was found dead at his home in Daley Close, Ladywood, on 18 November.
Police have charged Alberto Casiroli, 20, a tenant at the same address, with murder.
Mr Casiroli was originally detained under the Mental Health Act but West Midlands Police have since declared him fit to be charged.
He is due before Birmingham Crown Court later.
Mr Leccese had been working as a croupier at the time of his death.
