Taxi crash with tree in Wolverhampton leaves six hurt
Six taxi passengers have been taken to hospital after the car hit a tree in Wolverhampton in the early hours.
One passenger was treated at the scene for a suspected fractured leg and head and facial injuries, West Midlands Ambulance Service said.
A second man, together with two women, also suffered head injuries in the crash in Thompson Avenue, Parkfields, at about 04.45 GMT, a spokesman said.
Two other passengers were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The driver was unhurt in the collision, the service said.
