Firefighters are tackling a blaze at a scrap yard in the West Midlands, thought to involve up to 1,000 tonnes of metal.

The fire at R Davies Metals Ltd, in Oak Lane, Kingswinford, started shortly before 05:30 BST, West Midlands Fire Service said.

At its height, about 25 firefighters were involved.

The fire service said the blaze was now under control and it had scaled back the number of engines at the scene.
