Man stabbed getting off Birmingham bus

A man was stabbed several times after getting off a Birmingham bus.

The stabbing occurred as two men became involved in an argument as they got off the bus in Vyse Street, in the city's Jewellery Quarter, on Saturday evening, West Midlands Police said.

The victim was taken to hospital, where his condition is described as critical but stable.

The attacker, described as black and wearing a woolly hat, ran away from the scene.
