A large fire broke out at a derelict pub in Birmingham amid reports of vandals in the property.

More than 30 firefighters tackled the blaze at the former Pudding and Pint pub on Kingstanding Road in Oscott, from 20:00 BST on Tuesday.

The fire was brought under control and an investigation has been launched into the cause of the fire.

West Midlands Fire and Rescue Service said people had earlier reported seeing youths at the site.

Nobody was injured, the service added.
