Three members of family stabbed in Stourbridge home

A man, a woman and a boy from the same family were stabbed at their home.

The three were found with serious stab wounds when emergency services were called to Greyhound Lane, Norton, Stourbridge, just after 08:00 BST.

A Land Rover taken from outside the home was intercepted by police about 30 minutes later in Norton Road.

It was understood the victims were a couple and their son. A man in his 20s was arrested on suspicion of wounding.

The Midlands Air Ambulances from Cosford and Staffordshire were sent to the scene along with two land ambulances.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: "A woman, a man and a boy all suffered very serious injuries in the incident and received advanced trauma care from ambulance staff at the scene."
