Man, 23, arrested after armed raid in Birmingham
A 23-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of false imprisonment after an armed raid in Birmingham.
Police were called to Marston Road, in Weoley Castle, at 00:30 GMT following concerns for a woman's welfare.
Armed officers entered the house at 08:35 as the man was believed to be in the house with the woman in possession of a baseball bat and knives.
The man was treated for non-serious self-inflicted injuries.

The woman was unharmed but treated by paramedics as a precaution.
An area around the scene was cordoned off and officers are visiting residents to offer reassurance.
