Man killed in Amblecote hit-and-run named

A man who died in a hit-and-run crash has been named.

Krzyzstof Klasowski, 37, was struck in Amblecote High Street, Stourbridge, at about 03:30 GMT on Saturday, West Midlands Police said.

Mr Klasowski, from West Bromwich, was found with multiple injuries about two hours later and pronounced dead at the scene.

A 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

He was released pending further investigation, police said on Tuesday.
