Family plea over fatally stabbed Oldbury father-of-six

The family of a man who was stabbed to death outside his home in the West Midlands have appealed for information.

Charles Kelly, 57, was found with multiple stab wounds in Marshall Road, Oldbury, at about 2200 BST on Friday. He was later declared dead in hospital.

His family said: "He was liked by all who knew him." The family has asked for anyone with information, no matter how small, to come forward.

Two men aged 50 and 40 were arrested and bailed on suspicion of murder.

"He was a husband of 38 years and a very proud family man of six children and nine grandchildren, who loved him dearly," his family added.

Officers are due to conduct anniversary inquiries in the area between 0900 BST and 1100 BST on Friday.

Anyone with information is asked to call West Midlands Police or call Crimestoppers anonymously.
