Fourth man charged in Wolverhampton murder case

A fourth person has been charged with the murder of a man whose wife gave birth just hours later.

Muhammed Farooq, 40, from Merridale died as a result of head and chest injuries in Wolverhampton.

He was found in Clifton Street, Chapel Ash, just before midnight on Tuesday 28 September. His wife later gave birth to a girl.

Three men have been charged with murder and remanded in custody. The fourth is due before Wolverhampton magistrates.
