Eight men have been bailed over the death of a Polish lorry driver who had been transporting televisions.

The men were arrested in Tipton, West Bromwich and Oldbury on Wednesday on suspicion of manslaughter and robbery over the death of Bogdan Bartczak, 57.

His body was found in Vale Road, Netherton, West Midlands, on 1 November. The lorry was found, minus its load in West Bromwich.

Officers released the men on Saturday pending further inquiries.

A post-mortem examination failed to determine the cause of Mr Bartczak's death and further test results are awaited.

West Midlands police are keen to trace the lorry's load of LG 47in (119cm) flat-screen LCD TVs and want anyone with information about the incident to contact them.
