Walsall Manor Hospital re-opens after norovirus bug

Walsall Manor Hospital says it has re-opened all of its wards to visitors after an outbreak of the norovirus vomiting bug 10 days ago.

However, some visiting restrictions remain in place as there are still some patients affected with the virus.

The hospital closed its wards on 7 February.

Amir Khan, medical director, said there were 11 patients affected but after a reduction in cases they were re-opening the rest of the hospital to visitors.
