Nine treated after Lye 'arson' attack on flats

Three women and five children have been taken to hospital after a suspected arson attack at flats in Stourbridge.

A fire is thought to have started in the rubbish chute at flats in Claycroft Place, Lye, at about 1800 GMT on Monday, the fire service said.

Three mothers and four girls and a boy - aged between six months and 12 years old - were taken to hospital as a precaution, the ambulance service said.

A father of one of the children was also treated at the scene.
