Huddersfield teenager threatened with knife near park

A teenager was threatened with a knife by two men near a West Yorkshire park, police have said.

The 16-year-old boy was meeting a friend on Eldon Road, Huddersfield at about 1830 GMT on Thursday.

He said two men threatened him with a knife, kicked and punched him and took his mobile phone, money and keys.

They are described as mixed race and of Afro-Caribbean appearance. Both were stocky, 5ft 10in tall and about 18 years old.

The boy suffered cuts and bruises in the incident but did not require hospital treatment.

Police said they were conducting house-to-house inquiries and checking CCTV cameras and urged anyone with information to contact them.
