Major inquiry after men found critically ill in Ossett
A major police investigation has been started after two men were found unconscious and critically ill near a bus stop in a West Yorkshire town.
They were found on Manor Road in Ossett at about 0720 GMT and taken to Pinderfields Hospital in Wakefield where they remain in intensive care.
Police said the men were aged between 30 and 40 and are trying to establish their identities.
Witnesses or anyone with information should contact West Yorkshire Police.
A spokesman said inquiries had led officers to believe the men may have spent Saturday night in Leeds.
An investigation has been started by the force's homicide and major inquiry team and forensic officers are at the scene.
