Two convicted drug dealers have been ordered to pay authorities more than £450,000.

Philip Pearce, 58, from Bristol, is serving an 11 year sentence for conspiracy to supply Class A drugs and possessing a firearm without a licence.

His son, Justin Pearce, is serving a 20 year sentence for conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.

The pair, who were jailed in 2008, were issued with confiscation orders at Bristol Crown Court earlier.

An Avon and Somerset Constabulary spokesman said their benefit from crime was calculated at £700,000 each.

Philip Pearce was ordered to pay £313,678.31.

Justin Pearce was ordered to pay £150,000.

If they do not pay within six months, their sentences will be increased.
