Girls, 10, assaulted and racially abused in Patchway

An investigation is under way after two 10-year-old girls were assaulted and racially abused by two older girls in South Gloucestershire.

A police spokesman said the attack happened on the playing field at the pavilion in Patchway at about 1730 BST on Monday.

The first offender is white, about 15, skinny and with blonde hair.

The other girl is also white, around 17, 5ft 3in and overweight, with long brown wavy hair.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
