The five candidates for the Labour leadership were in Bristol to try and gather support from South West party members.

Some 350 members attended the hustings at the Passenger Shed at Temple Meads station on Thursday evening.

The candidates - Diane Abbott, Ed Balls, Andy Burnham, David Miliband and Ed Miliband - had spent the day touring the region.

The result of the ballot is expected to be known in a few weeks time.
