Gas firm to close Bath's Broad Street for pipe work

A busy road in Bath is to be closed for a month to allow a 290m gas pipe to be replaced.

Broad Street will be closed from 21 February from Broad Street Car Park to George Street to allow workers to complete the £320,000 project.

Temporary three-way traffic lights will also be installed at the junction of Lansdown Road, Bladud Buildings and George Street.

A Wales and West Utilities spokesman said shops would remain open.
