Woman arrested on suspicion of arson in Long Ashton

A 20-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of arson and assaulting a police officer after a fire at a house near Bristol.

Fire crews were called to Fenswood Close, in Long Ashton, at about 1730 BST on Friday.

Eighteen firefighters and four fire engines tackled the blaze which was extinguished after 10 minutes.

Nobody was injured in the fire. Anyone with information should contact Avon and Somerset Police.
