A 17-year-old man has been arrested in Bristol and a stun gun recovered during a subsequent property search.

The teenager was stopped in Hartcliffe and was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply drugs.

Police then searched a house in Billand Close and found bags of cannabis and cocaine, around £2,000 in cash and the Taser gun.

A 37-year-old woman was also arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply and money laundering.

Both have been released on bail pending further enquiries.

"We will not tolerate the supply of illegal drugs in our city," said Det Sgt Neil Kingdon.

"[We] will continue to place offenders before the courts to be brought to justice for this type of crime."
