Twenty-two arrested as Bristol cash machines targeted
Twenty-two people have been arrested after six cash machines were targeted in a suspected organised crime attack in Bristol.
Police made a number of arrests at about 04:15 BST after CCTV operators saw a group acting suspiciously at a cash machine in the city centre.
Police attended five further, similar incidents and seized cash, debit cards, store vouchers and vehicles.
They arrested a total of 22 people for a variety of offences.
All 22 remain in custody while they are being questioned. Anyone with information is urged to contact the police.
