Bradley Stoke supermarket horse Bambino gets new home
A horse found in a supermarket car park near Bristol has been given a new home.
Bambino was discovered in the car park in Bradley Stoke along with four other horses three years ago. They had escaped from their enclosure.
He was aged 18 months, he was underweight and in a poor condition.
The animals were taken to the charity Horseworld in Whitchurch from where the owner collected three. Bambino and another horse were left behind, the charity said.
The four-year-old has now started training as a ridden horse and will be looked after by Nichole Park in Oxfordshire in the new year.
The agreement will see Bambino living with Ms Park, but Horseworld will retain legal ownership.
Jessie Rushbrooke, from the charity, said: "Bambino is restricted to hacking only with a lightweight rider due to his poor start in life.
"But he takes everything in his stride and is proving to be super horse."
